BYOx
Bring Your Own ‘x’ (BYOx) is a new pathway supporting the delivery of 21st century learning. It is a term used to describe a digital device ownership model where students or staff use their personally-owned mobile devices to access the department’s information and communication (ICT) network. BYOx is mandatory at Redbank Plains State High School for specific year levels. In 2022, it will be required that all Years 7, 11 and returning Year 12 students to bring their own learning device to school. In 2023, it will be required that all Years 7, 8, and 10, 11 and returning Year 12 students to bring their own learning device to school.
