The Technology Learning Program requires access to a laptop for students to use as part of the school’s curriculum delivery. Families have two options: they can either buy a laptop from a retailer or rent one from the school every year ($200 in 2025).
To participate in the school’s Laptop4Rent Program, for the following school year, returning students at Redbank Plains State High School need to make a payment of $200 during Term 4 of the current year. If needed, payment plans can be arranged during Term 4, with the full payment due by the last day of your student's attendance.
Payment options:
- Payment methods: VISA, and Mastercard are preferred.
- Qkr!, Centrepay and BPoint
- Other payment options can be arranged.
Note: If enrolment is withdrawn in Term 4, monies paid can be refunded on request.
The school rental laptop fee provides:
- A computing device (laptop)
- Full access to the school wireless network
- Monitored Access during School hours
- Secure, filtered and monitored work environment
- Accidental damage, loss and theft insurance at home and school (Conditions apply)
- A sturdy carry case (When the laptop is not being used it MUST always be in the school-issued carry case)
- School licensed software
- Technical Support
- School multi-function print device access (printing, copying, scanning).
Together, let's embrace the power of technology and equip students for success!
