​Redbank Plains State High School a School Based Youth Health Nurse (SBYHNs), Pam. 

The SBYHNs are a Queensland Health initiative to support the health & wellbeing of young people in schools. These nurses have worked in partnership with Education Qld for over 20 years.

They can help individual students with:
  • Early identification of existing or potential health issues.
  • Quick health interventions and referrals to specialists.
  • Health education for individual students and small groups.
  • Assistance for parents or caregivers of students facing health concerns or having health-related inquiries.​
