Learning Support Teachers

Role:

The role of the Support Teacher – Literacy and Numeracy (ST-LAN) is to support students who have been identified as having diverse learning needs. The school utilises a variety of information including NAPLAN results, standardised testing results and students’ academic results to identify the learning needs and necessary support for students.

Services Offered:

  • Develop and deliver programs to support students

  • Monitor and review student progress

  • Liaise with teachers, parents and the wider community

  • Work in consultation with teachers to provide resources for differentiation

Accessibility:

The school has two full time Support Teachers for Literacy and Numeracy (ST:LaN), one for both the Junior and Senior School. For any inquiries about the Learning Support contact the school on 07 3432 1222.
