ACARA

ACARA was established under Section 5 of the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority Act (Cth) on 8 December 2008. ACARA’s functions include development of national curriculum, administration of national assessments and associated reporting on schooling in Australia.

QCAA

The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) is a statutory body of the Queensland Government. We provide Kindergarten to Year 12 syllabuses, guidelines, assessment, reporting, testing and certification services for Queensland schools.
The QCAA was established on 1 July 2014, replacing the Queensland Studies Authority (QSA).
