As my first year as Principal of Redbank Plains State High School comes to a close, I want to take a moment to thank you all for the warm welcome and incredible support I’ve received. It has been a privilege to join this vibrant and dynamic community, and I am deeply grateful for the collaboration and trust we’ve built together over the past year.
This year has been one of growth and celebration. From outstanding academic achievements to vibrant cultural events, performing arts and sporting events, every student has a place to showcase their passion and connect with the school. Highlights such as House games, a Multicultural evening, an Arts Showcase, Yaggera sports triumphs, Future Anything presentations, UQ excursions and PBL rewards days are a few of the events that brought out the strong sense of community spirit that defines Redbank Plains State High School.
Our staff have continued to go above and beyond, fostering a culture of high expectations and unwavering support. I extend my heartfelt thanks to every teacher, support staff member, and volunteer who has contributed to the success of our students this year. Your efforts have made a lasting impact.
To our families, thank you for being our partners in education. Your encouragement and engagement have been pivotal in creating a thriving school environment where students feel valued and inspired to succeed.
As we enter the holiday season, I encourage everyone to take this time to relax, recharge, and enjoy special moments with loved ones. May your holidays be filled with joy, laughter, and the making of wonderful memories.
We are already looking forward to the new opportunities and challenges that 2025 will bring. Together, we will continue to aim high, support one another, and ensure that every student at Redbank Plains SHS has the opportunity to excel.
Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to our school community. Have a safe and happy holiday season, and I look forward to seeing you all in the new year.
