Our school community alongside special guests including Mayor Teresa Harding, Milton Dick, Councillor Pye Augustine, Councillor Jacob Madsen, Chris Condon (Policy Advisor for Hon Shayne Neumann), Steven Hall, Paul Sinclair, Lance McCallum and Gary Gibson OAM, came together to commemorate ANZAC Day 2025. ANZAC Day is a National Day of Remembrance in Australia and New Zealand. It has been remembered in Queensland State Schools since 1916, the year following the landing at Gallipoli.

ANZAC Day, April 25, is an important day for all Australians, including all the First Nations men and women who have served alongside other Australians in all wars since before Federation.

Special thanks to our amazing school Concert Band under the support and mentorship of Mrs Chambers, as well as our school captain MCs and Year 9 student, Brooklynn, our bugle player who performed beautifully in front of our whole school community.20250424_143728(0).jpg
