Role:
The role of the Pacific Islander Liaison Officer (PILO) is to provide support services to Pacific Islander students to support their learning and participation at school. This involves connecting with students, school staff, community and family of students to ensure the best outcomes for each individual student.
Services Offered:
· Monitor student progress
· Liaise between students, parents/caregivers and the school community
· Facilitate cultural events
· Advocate for students and negotiate relevant support for academic, social and/or emotional issues
